i want to upgrade on a nice, durable, quality fly rod and reel outfit but i dont know what to get. im gonna be fishing for largemouth bass and some inshore saltwater every now and then so im not gonna be bringing in huge tarpon or offshore stuff so i need an outfit to get the job done but doesnt break the bank any help?
I’ve been looking at a Pflueger echelon rod and reel combo at a local outdoor shop and they are about 5.00. Is there another brand I could get for the same price that might be better? I’ve heard the Pfluegers are good. I’m used to using a spinning rod, but I’ve used a baitcaster before. I’m aiming to catch a biggg bass this spring/summer and I need a rod that can handle some bigger line so I can man handle these fish lol
I have a good carp rod and reel I just need to know what tackle to buy ect.
A list would be nice, What pound line, hooks (barbless), bait, feeder ect. Price to would be good.

I just started fishing, my friends got me into it. We fish at the beach, and so far I don’t have a specific specie of fish that I’m targeting. So now I want to buy a surf rod and reel I just don’t know what kind to get. Can anyone help me? Please nothing over 0
We fish right off the shore, and with my 7 foot pole I can’t cast like my friends do. That is why I decided to get a surf pole. Hopefully that helps.

I’m 21 years old and my 8 year old cousin hooked me into fishing. I’m a beginner with next to zero experience but one lousy attempt as a kid. I live in the Bay Area (East Bay – http://ebparks.org/activities/fishing) in Northern California. I’ll be Freshwater Fishing in lakes primarily by boat occasionally around the lake’s shore. The lakes and reservoirs around here contain Trout, Catfish, Bass, Sturgeon, Crappie, Bluegill, and Sunfish. I’m looking into buying my first own Rod and Reel or Rod/Reel Combo around (Willing to spend more or save a few dollars). Spinning Rod? Casting Rod? Open-Bail Spinning Reel? Closed Spin Casting Reel? I’m hoping to one day become an experienced amateur angler. What type of Fishing Rod and Reel should I buy?
If you have any advice with any other fishing gear I will highly appreciate it (Tackles, Baits, Lures, Jigs, Hooks, Sinkers, Fishing Lines). I have zero equipment as of right now. Thank you in advance.

Hi, when i was younger me and my dad did a lot of pike fishing, but now i go with mates and we like to do carp fishing but ive only got a pike rod and reel, can i still go carp fishing with it or not, if i can what things do i need to get like size wire, weights ect ect. thanks.
