The river Mörrum is a famous location for big atlantic salmon and sea trout. It is not easy, but if you are lucky to get a strike there is a fair chance you are about to fight a salmon over 10 kilo. Just like in this video.
In this video we go fly fishing for the florida peacock bass. We caught over 40 peacock bass on the fly rod and spin tackle combined. The video was recorded with a GoPro HD camera at 720p and 30fps.
We both go on holiday to Ireland and meet up with Denis Cronin, a professional Fly Fisher, we learn about flyfishing and even catch a few! Visit our website for more information about the trip! carlandalexfishing.co.uk Music from royalty free site www.danosongs.com
Well, with the Carp now spawning on the lake I’m fishing its time for a change of angling. I headed down to the River Calder in search of it’s Trout and Grayling. The river was carrying just a little more water than normal summer levels but this didn’t affect the fishing. Fishing bead head nymphs was the method that was resulting in the most attention from the Trout in the faster runs. The Grayling on the other hand were proving hard to tempt on the dries. The takes I did receive on the dry fly from the Grayling were fast and were proving hard to hit, maybe all this Carp fishing I’ve been doing over the past few months has slowed me down.
This weekend I’m going to a lake stocked with Broodstock Atlantic Salmon. The DEP stocked about 150-200 of these salmon in 2007 because the water was too low in another river. I’m wondering what the best lure for catching these kind of salmon would be. The weather will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and the temperature will be around 70 degrees. Any help will be appreciated. I choose best answer.
I’m on the east coast of FL, near Indian River
