First episode of an idea I have had for awhile.
In this video we go fly fishing for the florida peacock bass. We caught over 40 peacock bass on the fly rod and spin tackle combined. The video was recorded with a GoPro HD camera at 720p and 30fps.
i went carp fishing in the end of july.
i snook into this one shallow canal where i always see carp.
its kinda shallow
i anchored the boat and started baiting the area with bread and corn. there are alot of ducks in this area so i guess the people in the houses feed the ducks so thats why there are carp there. but everytime i go over there it seems like the carp are never there. anyways….. after i baited the area… i waited……………. and waited ………… untill 2 and a half hours later i finally hooked one up. it was a 12 lbs lunker.
i was just wondering is their anywhere else i can look for carp
and is there a way to catch them with less waiting??????
please help!!!!!

Im looking for a fishing reel, something I can for both freshwater(peacock/small mouth bass) and saltwater canals( small snook), also around docks(snapper, jacks, etc.) in south florida. I was thinking something more light tackle. Maybe a medium to small sized spinning reel.
Capt. Mel Simpson demonstrates tying his variation on the bendback fly. By adding the extra bend to the eye of the hook, the fly takes on new life in the water. A great fly for Snook and other species that feed on minnows. Filmed at the 2010 FFF Florida Council Flyfishing Expo in Orland, FL.
does it make a difference and please explain..what kind of reels and rods are good for catching largemouth bass, peacock, snook, tilapia, etc for around 0.00
