Whats the best way to get moderators on a Carp Fishing forum?
Ive just opened a new carp fishing site and need moderators for the forums. The site is so new I don’t know exactly the best way to get others to visit and we also need fisherman that would be interested in moderating the message forums portion of the site.
Looking for suggestions? Best answer?

I’d say you should moderate it yourself until the site gets active. Then look for applicants who would like to mod some of the section. Choose those with intelligent posts.
Issue I have with your site:
On main page, you have "shop" with gocarp. In the list you have basically a list of everything you can buy in walmart. It’s a fishing site, so if you want to have an affiliate, choose something like probassshop or something.
Hi
Yes, that’s true, you need to get your site get going before you can find moderators.
See, their are thousands of new sites made everyday with hundreds of forum, so its obvious that the new ones created won’t find for moderator because no one would like to moderate a new site because their is no visitors and hence nothing to moderate.
Your forum looks like phpBB integrated with the content, but its completely deteriorating the looks of your forum, its not at all looking nice and hence does the overall look your site.
Also, for starter forum’s, this should help you.

PS : Currently your website look is not at all good, you should consider a standalone dedicated forum.
